pantha du prince documentary ‘black noise’ by arte tracks

hendrik weber (pantha du prince) takes us on a tour through the ruins of teufelsberg in berlin and explains the concepts behind his album ‘black noise’.

in cooperation with the musician, visomat (added to materializada site hub) created the visuals for the live tour.

visomat inc. was formed in the mid-1990s as part of the crossover between media art and club culture typical of berlin, with the primary aim of visualizing music.

…the visuals are based on an oil painting of the bavarian mountain watzmann that is also used on the cover of the album.
